M4 F8x BMW harness bar / 1/2 roll cage 
TRUE BOLT-IN
Our bolt-in harness bar is essentially a 6 point bar. It has been TIG welded out of 1-3/4” DOM tubing. We use the additional strength of the rear seat beam. It meets NASA and SCCA rules for HPDE/TT events.

The rear section is connected via Chromoly interlocking tube clamps and bolts to the rear strut structure  (4 bolts on each side) and utilizes OEM bolt holes. The front is bolted to seat beam and OEM seat belt holes.
No welding/drilling or steel cutting required.  Fully reversible. A 4" straight carpet cut is required to hide the two base plates (all flanges out of ¼” high tensile steel laser cut). Invisible once you remove harness bar! Or you can fold the floor carpet as pictured w/o any changes to car.
The entire bar weighs 73lbs. Due to removal or heavy rear seats and cushions the net added weight is negligible.
The rear trunk clearance is 13" so you can load tires through trunk opening, see picture.

Use this harness bar only on race track and ONLY in combination with proper 6-point race harness, helmet and Hans devise!
